So here’s the deal: I like to be very warm when I fall asleep. Ultimately, I end up ripping off the covers if I start to sweat in the night, but otherwise, I can only fall asleep when I’ve attained optimal warmth conditions. I like to be cozy and snug, just like the rest of the world. However, I’ve recently determined something that I’m embarrassed to admit. Okay. Here it goes– I like nightgowns now.
I don’t know when it happened or why. I used to be such a content leggings/t-shirt wearer, or even a pair of athletic shorts. But now, after trying out several nights in a ‘gown,’ (it’s funny that they’re called that…), I don’t think I can return to any other form of sleepwear! This makes me feel like an old lady, or a repressed child from the Victorian-Era, but I’m telling you, you’ve gotta try one. There is a REASON, I have now learned, as to why my mother always wears them.
I’d highly recommend all of Cath Kidston’s nighties. Her prints are fun, bright and youthful, and the fabric is extra soft and breathable! Perfect for sleeping the night away. http://www.cathkidston.com
