Denim is an undeniably timeless trend. What started as the sturdiest fabric for teamsters,

Miranda Kerr rocking her Canadian Tuxedo.
has evolved into an Empire currently ruled by the likes of Rag & Bone, Frame, J Brand and Paige (among many other denim giants). It’s funny to think that my mother, so resistant to pants for years and years– although she’s got great legs!– was so turned off by jeans because of the lack of stretch fabric available in her youth. Apparently, stiff jeans were the norm in the 80’s. Super unforgiving, pretty unlike the denim of today. I have to give a shout out to Mrs. Grimm for getting my mother into her first pair of jeans in more than a decade. (Circa Fall 2013.) Mom now loves AG. Their jeans run a little large, so it’s nice to have even more extra give.
These days, denim shoes are all over the place! I wanted to compile a list of some great, day-to-night denim shoes that completely range in price. I am a shoe hoarder, and never say goodbye to a shoe unless my foot is actually peaking out of the bottom of the sole. (And even then, it pains me deeply to ditch the pair.) These shoes are arranged by price, from least to most expensive.
