Growing up, Santa always left our presents in beautiful, personalized, needlepoint stockings. One for Avery. One for Haley. One for Ryan. And one for Whitney. Stockings are keepsakes, and to a degree, family heirlooms– not that they need to be particularly expensive. My stocking continues to be an item that travels with me from home to home, life change to life change. And the best part? Once you purchase one, you’ll never need another! After all, how often do these stockings get used?  Once a year? For a month?
