What’s so great about the weather in Italy is that it’s “not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.” (Just call me the next Miss Congeniality.) But seriously. The temperature is so ideal! While I was shivering my little/big/growing behind off in Norway, I kept thinking to myself…why the heck did I not pack more cold weather clothing? Answer: There’s no need here! Italy, even on its ‘colder’ days is still beautifully sunny and bright.
To be fair, I can’t get by just wearing sleeveless dresses and skirts anymore. I definitely need some form of outerwear, and I’m in love, love, love with these short peacoats. Perfect for fall, and for the sunnier days of winter, Draper James has my vote for best coat of choice. Not only is it super cute, but it can totally dress up—or down—any look. I’d say it’s an ideal investment. I’m wearing mine now, and feel very cool with my high collar and big gold buttons! Also, another great touch is the shortened sleeves. Perfect for showing off your long sleeved shirts, and making for a coat that photographs really well.
