I am so so so happy! Meggie and I are officially moved into our apartment. First off, Meg and I are about the two laziest motivators in the world. I feel like we sometimes feed off of each other’s non-desire to clean, cook, homemake. But guess what? 2016 has ushered in a new Meg and a new Ave! Because we are done, done, done.

The productivity that occurred in this apartment will probably never occur again, but regardless, here are some of my favorite pictures of our room! And a list of some cute objects we bought to spruce up the place. 🙂 I also need to prevent myself from any further home goods shopping, so if anyone needs help decorating their apartment, let me know because I’m still craving that Target/At Home/Home Goods vibe!

At the greatest store EVER, At Home, we found this fab chair. It was $229, and totally makes the living room come together. We love the studs, and it’s super comfy! Feeling psyched about the investment.

We got this awesome etched bowl from target- not in copper, but in a treated gold. It was $25. Great to fill with decorative fruits, pinecones, or as Meggie and I have decided to– wine corks! 

Meg just cooked an AMAZING meal last night. (Steak! What?) Here’s how she touched stuff………..$17.99 from the Macy’s Martha Stewart Collection. Cute, eh?

It’s super important for me to surround myself with lots of inspirational, happy, pretty wall hangings. This beautiful one from Rifle Paper Company hangs in a white frame above my bed. It was $24 in total.
