Rebecca De Ravenel’s lightweight, multi-tiered earrings are, so far, my favorite things to toast to in this New Year. Statement making, while still retaining an air of elegance, Les Bonbons are making a serious impact on earlobes everywhere. (Except, as I mentioned, they’re so lightweight that you’re basically wearing a feather. Maybe two feathers.) And the best part? They’re clip-ons.

For those who aren’t aware of my clip-on obsession, let’s journey back to 1999: As a little girl, I loved playing dress up with my mother’s jewelry and clothing. I fell head over heels in love with the universal, equitable, clip-on earring. Anyone can wear them! No holes necessary. 

That said, Les Bonbons come in a bunch of different textures, colors and sizes. Either hand wrapped in lurex/silk cording, or coated in caviar beading, Les Bonbons are tres tres belle. Moda Operandi, my favorite site for trend-spotting, started carrying these babies in 2016, and I’m so excited to see how they’ve taken off! I look forward to seeing Ms. Ravenel’s continued designs in the New Year, and am such a fan of my black, four-tiered Twilights. So, cheers to Les Bonbons, earrings as sweet as your favorite candies!
