Spring 2017 Dresses Part I

Spring has sprung in Durham! The sun is out, several unnamed students’ guns are out, and we’re all feeling merry. Hey-nonny-nonny! (“Much Ado About Nothing” is filled with this expression, and it seems like a super springy play, so I shall attempt to bring it back. Yay for sixteenth-century slang! What would Shakespeare think about “fleek?” Or, for that matter, “fetch?” Will the real Gretchen Wieners please stand up? ) Apologies for the tangent. However, I fear that spring has sprung too soon here. Durham weather is finicky, and I foresee a cold front in our future.

Just in case you want to start prepping your wardrobe for the sunnier, warmer part of the year, I’ve picked out some of my favorite Spring dresses! Lengths vary, colors vary, textures vary. There’s variation, people! I hope you find something that works for you. At the very least, since most of these dresses are not budget friendly, I hope you find something that inspires you.

(Also, this is the first installment of a two part series. — Much of Spring 2017 hasn’t been released yet. For example, the Tory Burch top-skirt pairing in the header image.)
