I take my shopping seriously– especially when it’s out of town. It’s a big commitment to lug a whole bunch of extra wares through Security, and, if you’re shipping items, that expense is not one to be overlooked! (To be fair, Grace and I had an incredible experience with a shopkeeper in Oslo, Norway. She shipped our package across the globe at the best cost available, and included a gift with purchase.)
Shops:
- Gorsuch: For over 50 years, Gorsuch has provided perfectly curated housewa
res and clothing to suit the mountain lifestyle. I am absolutely enchanted every time I stop by. If you’re looking for design inspiration, or the ideal place to register, Gorsuch offers an intimate take on timeless home goods. Carrying pieces by Farmhouse Pottery, Simon Pierce, Mackenzie-Childs, Etro Home and more, I can’t get enough of Gorsuch’s eclectic collection and artful displays. If you’re looking to pick up a small gift reminiscent of yourtime in Park City, Gorsuch is filled to the brim with brilliant gold objets. Also be sure to check out Dede Johnston’s hand painted china mugs.
- Burn’s Cowboy Shop: It seems to me as if every Main Street shop has an older, more inspired history. For 140 years, Burn’s Cowboy Shop has been the preferred leather outfitter. I stop here to check out the intricate cowboy boots and spunky cowboy hats. Perfect for a trail ride at Stillman
Ranch!
- Panache: If I could, Panache is where I would do all my clothes shopping. Carrying some of my favorite denim brands– Mother, Frame and Current Elliot, Panache also does feminine, flirty fashion really well. Hence, their huge Rebecca Taylor, Trina Turk and Joie buys. Losing your suitcase wouldn’t be all that bad if Panache were your final destination!
